Terms and Conditions

Please read these terms and conditions carefully. Any commission or use of services implies that you have read, understood, and accepted these terms and conditions.

 

Product(s)

1.1 When you place an order with us, you are agreeing that you understand the process of having your flowers pressed, arranged and framed by Pressed Flowers by Nell.

1.2 Pressed Flowers by Nell provides detailed instructions on how to care for your flowers prior to drop off or postage, and postage instructions via email or as outlined in the FAQ sections. 

1.3 Any damage caused to the flowers before postage or during is not the responsibility of Pressed Flowers by Nell. 

1.4 A design consultation will be provided to decide on design, frame and a mountboard for the finished piece. The customer will have 7 days from this point to finalise any decisions not made in the consultation, any longer will cause a delay on the piece of 3 – 4 weeks. 

1.5 Once the design has been approved, Pressed Flowers by Nell will try to keep as near to the design as possible however, there may need to be adjustments made at the discretion of the artist. 

1.6 Each piece is handmade, using natural flowers and is one of a kind. The artwork will last a lifetime however, the pressed flowers will change colour slightly over time. If they are kept in direct sunlight, they will change colour also. But once the flowers are pressed, they will stay preserved and keep their shape, size and texture.

1.7 As the artwork is handmade, please be mindful that it will not be ‘perfect’. The custom artwork is created using natural items therefore, small imperfections are not considered faults

 

Intellectual Property

1.1 All intellectual property rights concerning this web site including, but not limited to design, text, graphics, logos, images, and other materials are owned by Pressed Flowers by Nell. 

1.2 No content, design or trademarks may be reproduced, copied, used, sold and/ or duplicated without prior written consent

Prices 

2.0 Once the flowers are received, they are then the property of Pressed Flowers by Nell until the order has been paid for in full and returned to the customer as a finished artwork. 

2.1 Pressed Flowers by Nell retains the right to withhold any flowers and artwork until the balance has been paid in full.

2.2 Consultations have a €50 charge that is fully redeemable against your piece. Please understand that as appointment times are limited, we do recommend booking in advance. 

2.3 If you must cancel or need to reschedule your appointment, we respectfully request 24 hours’ notice. 

2.4 No shows, appointments rescheduled, or appointments cancelled without 24 hours’ notice, will incur a 50% fee of your consultation charge.

 

Payment

3.0 Pressed Flowers by Nell requires a €200 deposit from the customer to confirm their booking. This deposit is non-refundable and non-transferrable. The flowers will not be pressed until the deposit has been received. 

3.1 Any damage caused to the flowers due to a delay in payment is not the responsibility of Pressed Flowers by Nell. 

3.2 If the customer chooses to terminate the services of Pressed Flowers by Nell after paying a deposit but before the commissioned piece is complete, Pressed flowers by Nell reserves the right to retain any non-refundable deposits paid. 

3.3 Should the customer cancel the commission agreement after the Artwork has been completed, Pressed Flowers by Nell reserves the right to charge up to 100% of the total projected costs. 

 

Cancellation & Refund Policy 

4.0 If communication breaks down on the part of the customer for a period of 30 days (that is, the customer fails to reply to a communication from Pressed Flowers by Nell) Pressed Flowers by Nell will issue a warning email. If this warning email is not replied to (and communication does not resume) with a following period of 30 days, Pressed flowers by Nell reserves the right to terminate the commission. In this event, all deposits paid will be retained by Pressed flowers by Nell and the flowers will remain the property of Pressed Flowers by Nell.

4.1 Refunds or returns will not be accepted on finished pieces as they are custom made. If you have an issue with your piece, please get in touch within 7 days of receiving it. As the artwork is handmade, please be mindful that it will not be ‘perfect’. The custom artwork is created using natural items therefore, small imperfections are not considered faults
